06:42 Hereford to London Paddington due 09:47 will no longer call at Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford.
This is due to a broken down train earlier today.

It was 23 mins late from Hereford and 20 mins late leaving Shrub Hill.  I can't quite see which train broke down.  Possibly whatever it was, it delayed the ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) getting to Hereford.

Nowhere near as bad as last year but there does seem to be an increase in the number of cancellations and problems over the last few weeks:

Quote
05:28 Hereford to London Paddington due 08:28 will be started from Oxford.
It will no longer call at Hereford, Ledbury, Colwall, Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, Charlbury and Hanborough.
This is due to a broken down train.

Wake up... discover shower isn't working, check trains:

Quote
07:10 Moreton-in-Marsh to London Paddington due 08:51 will be started from Oxford.
It will no longer call at Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury and Hanborough.
This is due to a fault on this train.

rush to station to catch earlier 05:28 Hereford to Paddington service, missing out on breakfast. Get to work and there's no milk!

For the fifth time in ten weekdays, the 1550 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains):MIM isn't taking you into the Cotswolds:

Quote
15:50 London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh due 17:26 was terminated at Oxford.
It will no longer call at Slough, Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham and Moreton-in-Marsh.
This is due to a broken down train.
Last Updated:08/11/2019 16:51

A late call too, but probably not a surprise to the regulars on this service. And to add to the fun, the following 1622 Paddington to Great Malvern train seems to be a five car short-formation.

Delays to services between Worcester Shrub Hill and Pershore

Due to engineering works not being finished on time between Worcester Shrub Hill and Pershore all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

The 04:47 from Hereford is not doing well this week:
Quote
04:47 Hereford to London Paddington due 07:52
Facilities on the 04:47 Hereford to London Paddington due 07:52.
This is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.
Will be formed of 5 coaches instead of 9.

The 'update' time is a bit odd - did someone only notice after it had passed Worcester?

No idea how serious it'll turn out to be but:

Quote
Cancellations to services between Moreton-In-Marsh and Honeybourne

Due to flooding between Moreton-in-Marsh and Honeybourne the line towards Worcester Foregate Street is blocked.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 13:00 14/11.
Last Updated:14/11/2019 11:43

so far:

Quote
10:22 London Paddington to Hereford due 13:47 was terminated at Oxford.
It will no longer call at Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link, Great Malvern, Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford.
This is due to flooding.

and:

Quote
11:57 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington due 14:27 will be started from Moreton-in-Marsh.
It will no longer call at Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill, Pershore, Evesham and Honeybourne.
This is due to flooding.

with Realtime Trains confirming the 0921 Paddington to Worcester Foregate Street service "was cancelled between Moreton-in-Marsh and Worcester Foregate Street due to severe flooding (X2)."

and also from Realtime Trains:

Quote
1W23 1120 London Paddington to Oxford
This service was cancelled between Oxford and Worcester Foregate Street due to severe flooding (X2).

Seems to be getting worse - from National Rail Enquiries:

Quote
Heavy rain has flooded the railway between Hereford and Great Malvern, and also between Moreton-in-Marsh and Honeybourne resulting in all lines being blocked between Hereford and Oxford.

Trains running between these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until at least 15:00.

With some repetition, this is the current position:

Quote
Due to flooding between Moreton-in-Marsh and Honeybourne the line is blocked.

Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or suspended between Moreton-In-Marsh and Worcester Shrub Hill. Disruption is expected until 18:00 14/11.

10:22 London Paddington to Hereford due 13:47 was terminated at Oxford.
11:57 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington due 14:27 will be started from Moreton-in-Marsh.
12:09 Hereford to London Paddington due 15:27 has been cancelled.
12:22 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill due 14:42 will be terminated at Oxford.
15:22 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington due 17:28 will be started from Oxford.

The last down service which has run beyond Oxford appears to have been the 0921 Paddington to Worcester Foregate Street which was terminated at Moreton-in-Marsh.

And big holes being put into the evening peak service:

Quote
15:14 Hereford to London Paddington due 18:27 will be started from Oxford.
It will no longer call at Hereford, Ledbury, Colwall, Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury and Hanborough.
This is due to flooding.

15:22 London Paddington to Great Malvern due 17:58 will be cancelled.
This is due to flooding.

15:22 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington due 17:28 has been cancelled.
This is due to heavy rain flooding the railway.

15:50 London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh due 17:26 will be terminated at Oxford.
It will no longer call at Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham and Moreton-in-Marsh.
This is due to flooding.

17:52 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill due 20:10 will be cancelled.
This is due to heavy rain flooding the railway.

18:29 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 21:05 will be cancelled.
This is due to flooding.

And the 16:22 Paddington to Great Malvern service which will be taking customers forward from the two previous cancelled services seems to be a five car short-formation (it is meant to be nine coaches, isn't it?).

And now:

Quote
15:52 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington due 18:00 will be started from Oxford.
It will no longer call at Worcester Shrub Hill, Evesham, Moreton-in-Marsh and Charlbury.
This is due to flooding.
Last Updated:14/11/2019 16:55

Presumably using the stock from the truncated 15:50 PAD» (Paddington (London) - next trains):MIM.

Meanwhile, the 14:21 Paddington to Worcester Foregate Street service seems to have negotiated the flooded section, arriving at Evesham 42 minutes late having left Moreton-in-Marsh on time.

There's a 5mph check at the site of the flooding (far end of Campden Tunnel), so trains can get through with a delay.  Forty minutes sounds a bit excessive though.

I'm on the 2022 Paddington to Great Malvern and it seems to be going all the way.

<cynic> they need to get the stock in position for tomorrow.

Fingers crossed.

Two of the three previous trains ran through incurring only minor delays through the flooded sections so you should be ok.

Getting stock in the right place for the start up tomorrow is always one of the considerations when working out an amended train plan.
