The Salisbury to Reading service will really start in earnest the following Sunday (26th May).   On the 19th it is a bus between Salisbury and Andover.

These are real genuine improvements to services between London-Salisbury-Bristol-Exeter.

More trains between Bristol-Westbury-Salisbury operated by 159s for those who want to avoid travelling on a Turbo with first class also available.

The 158s may soon be gone but the 159s continue.

............and I must say, the Salisbury depot always keep their rolling stock in excellent condition - both mechanically and visually.

They’ve won many a golden spanner at the annual Modern Railways awards ceremony for doing so.
