Summary below, copied from the Pathfinder website - https://www.pathfindertours.co.uk/events/the-50-terminator-pheonixed/

"A quarter of a century ago, Class 50s Nos. 50050 and 50007 left London Waterloo for Penzance, returning east to Paddington for their final British Rail journey. On this Saturday excursion, we are repeating the itinerary, this time from Paddington and returning to Waterloo with two Class 50s at the business end giving us over 600 miles of English Electric power.

From Reading we head through Newbury, over Savernake Summit, down to Westbury and across ‘the Desert’ to Taunton. We climb over Whiteball, down the Culm Valley, along the sea-wall, then over Dainton and Rattery to Plymouth. Still travelling west, we travel over the Royal Albert Bridge into Cornwall to line’s end at Penzance, for a break of 90 minutes or so.

On the return we reverse at Exeter for a run to Salisbury over ‘the Mule’. After climbing again either side of Andover it is then fifty miles of fast running into Waterloo."
