More than 3,300 travellers in the South West have been prosecuted for dodging fares in the last 12 months, shocking new figures show.

Great Western Railways has said that about 1.5 per cent of its passengers tried to travel without a ticket.

All the names of naughty fare dodgers on Devon and Cornwall's railways - More than 3,000 people prosecuted a year in the region - including these 40 travellers taken to court

My bolding - interesting figure and I wonder how it's been evaluated and how evenly spread it is.
