There are times I read a story and only as I get well into it do I know if it goes on one of our 'line' boards, on "wider picture, UK (United Kingdom)" or "wider picture, world"

From the Daily Star

Quote
SIX men have been in court accused of stripping off and throwing poo on a train – hitting an innocent woman on board.

The six men are said to have stripped off and defecated in a train carriage before throwing the excrement at each other. Some of the poop grenades went astray and struck a female passenger who was not involved in the faecal fracas.

The group, aged 21 to 27, are also accused of loudly discussing their sexual exploits and asking passengers to expose themselves.

They all face one charge of doing an act of outraging public decency while travelling between Bath Spa station in Somerset and Chippenham, Wilts on July 11, 2018.

Ah - Chippenham. ...  Grin Grin

It’s in the Swindon Advertiser too. Not sure they should have enabled comments during the court case.

Does the Adver join in the excremental excitement with quotes to rival "faecal fracas" ?

ISTR (I seem to recall/remember) that monkeys throw poo at each other as an insult, normal humans do not do this.
Perhaps these humans are more closely related to monkeys than the average ?

A proper intercity train has a minimum of 8 coaches, gangwayed throughout, with first at one end, and a full sized buffet car between first and standard.
It has space for cycles, surfboards, luggage etc.
A 5 car DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) is not a proper inter-city train. The 5+5 and 9 car DMUs are almost as bad.

Seeing the thread title without my glasses on I thought this was going to be a story about Poole Station.

Or perhaps the entire story might be a load of c**p?  Grin
