SWT (South West Trains) have announced  the following
Quote
Disruption between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury on Monday 30 September (early morning)
What's Going On:
Due to a shortage of train crew between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury fewer trains are able to run. Train services running through these stations may be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 08:30 30/09.

What We're Doing about it:
We have been informed of a shortage of train crew on our West of England line early morning on Monday 30 September.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
- The 05:10 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo service will start at Salisbury at 07:15.
- The 06:19 Honiton to London Waterloo service has been cancelled.

We have requested replacement buses to run between these stations (from Exeter St Davids heading towards Yeovil Junction) but these have not yet been confirmed.

Passengers are recommended to to travel via the following alternative services:
- If you board a SWR» (South Western Railway - about) service at Exeter St Davids, please board a GWR (Great Western Railway) service to London Paddington. Your SWR ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on GWR services between Exeter St Davids and London Paddington.
- If you board a SWR service between Exeter Central and Axminster, please take the first service to Exeter St Davids and take a GWR service to London Paddington. Your SWR ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on GWR services between Exeter St Davids and London Paddington.
- If you board a SWR service at Crewkerne, please speak to station staff or use a help point.
- If you board a SWR service between Yeovil Junction and Tisbury, you are advised to take the train that leaves Yeovil Junction at 05:46. The next service after this time, will leave Yeovil Junction at 07:20. There will be no alternative transport between these stations.

For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.
Sounds like the Yeovil crew depot cannot come soon enough

"We have been informed of a shortage of train crew on our West of England line early morning on Monday 30 September" - by whom? Surely it's their workforce so they shouldn't need to be "informed"?   Roll Eyes

RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) shows a daily 10.40 ecs working from Yeovil Pen Mill to Weymouth, returning to Salisbury, via Westbury, at 12.28. Although in the timetable on Mondays to Fridays until the 11th of October, it runs only when required.
