Crossrail was supposed to launch at the end of last year, but major delays, an overspent budget and bad management of the project have left it in a state of limbo.
 
A new opening date is yet to be determined and more money to the tune of £17.6 billion is being poured into the project in order to get it finished.
 
Tomorrow, the London Assembly Transport Committee will have an opportunity to explore lessons learned from former and current Crossrail executives. There will also be an update from Network Rail on the eastern and western sections of the railway and when they might be open.
