from Bowerhill to Bath - service D3 from 10th November 2019

Monday to Friday at:

Saturday at:

All services 7 to 12 minutes later at Melksham Market Place

From Bath (Bus Station)  to Bowerhill - service D3

Monday to Friday at
0740 0825 0920 1020 1120 1220 1320 1420 1520 1550 1620 1700 1730 1800 1835 2000 2130 2320
Saturday at

All services a few minutes later from Bath Guildhall

All buses call run from Bowerhill via Melksham Town Centre, Whitley, Atworth, Ashley, Batheaston and the centre of Bath to the Bus station, journey time from 52 to 68 minutes.  Some are through services to / from Devizes and Urchfont. All travel via Melksham Forest on either their outbound or inbound journeys.

Note that some times are changed from the previous timetable, and middle of the day services are reduced from every 30 minutes to every hour. The 21:30 bus from Bath on Mondays to Saturdays, which used to terminate at Melksham Market Place, is extended to Bowerhill via Melksham Forest.



Other buses are available between Melksham and Bath on route X72 (run by Faresaver) on Mondays to Saturdays, daytime, and by Swindon's Bus Company on route X76 on Monday to Friday.  Passengers can also travel by train (run by GWR (Great Western Railway)) from Melksham Station to Bath Spa Station changing at Chippenham or Trowbridge - first weekday train 06:36 (05:33 from 16th December).

Understandable reduction in frequency but let's hope that it doesn't encourage passengers who started to use the bus after the frequency increase, back to their cars.
