Cancellations to services at Penzance
Due to a fault with the signalling system at Penzance:
Train services running to and from this station will be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 12:00 27/10.

A hitachi thing has hit the buffers in the depot. Photos circulation on Facebook. Wonder if any connection

Haven't seen the pictures (don't do FB), but hope it didn't hit one of the Signalling equipment rooms/Equipment cupboards around there  Roll Eyes Tongue

But S&TEng.: You said one should never put signalling equipment behind buffer stops ...
