From 9th to 14th November, buses will replace trains from Castle Cary and from Weston-super-mare to Tiverton Parkway. A London to Exeter / Devon / Cornwall service will run every 2 hours (via Yeovil Junction).

From Cross Country - ((here))

Quote
Rail replacement road transport will operate between
-Bristol Parkway and Tiverton Parkway.
-Bristol Temple Meads, Taunton and Tiverton Parkway
Early morning and late evening road transport will operate to/from Exeter St Davids.

So (not unexpected) none of their services going via "The Mule" (Exeter line from Yeovil)

More information can be found on this excellent well detailed page on the GWR (Great Western Railway) website:
https://www.gwr.com/travel-updates/planned-engineering/taunton

The only thing missing is a timetable! (Something which regulars to this forum will know I lament often that most TOCs (Train Operating Company) don't bother to produce a timetable anymore at times of engineering work. Bit like Broadgage and his Buffets!)

If, like the previous occasion, pathways are included for an empty stock working to/from Bristol (presumably for maintenance?). Recall seeing a Voyager through Yeovil!

I see that XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) trains are heading into the Up Loop at Tiverton Junction for a few minutes before continuing to Tiverton Parkway.  Considering the line from there to Tiverton Parkway is effectively a dead end, does this still require full single line working with a pilotman or can authority simply be given for the train to return to Tiverton Junction in the wrong direction since it will be the only train on the line with no possibility of anything entering from the Taunton direction (except from within the possession).  Presumably the stop in the loop is to either pick up the pilotman or to be given authority to return in the wrong direction?

But is it, or could there be works trains?

That is why I later said "except from within the possession".

Ah but it doesn't mention which of the revised services have a Pullman Restaurant.   Grin
