I have just noted on RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) that a couple of GW (Great Western) trains have an unadvertised service stop at Crewkerne. These include the 0503 ex Plymouth and the 0743 ex Plymouth.
The same is given for Yeovil Junction.
The previous SW service in each case is some 10+ minutes before, which should allow sufficient time to clear Yeovil Jn.
Can anyone explain the reason for the unadvertised stop, which seems to be in the up direction only?

The unadvertised stop in both cases is for zero amount of time, so I wouldn't look to much into it
