I went into profile and it was not obvious at all

Please keep your forum registered email address up to date. The admin team use it very rarely indeed - but we do need to be able to get in touch / have a connection in an emergency situation, and be able to reach you slightly more formally in the future to notify you of an AGM (Annual General Meeting).   Your email address is also used automatically if you have set up certain notifications within your profile - if you want to hear when someone's posted to a thread you are following, for example.
