No-one else still up?

1X01 not back yet then...

Just been doing the Father Xmas schtick for the kids. This year I got a G&T - makes a nice change from sherry...

Merry Xmas one and all.

North Pole International Depot perchance, presumably between Santa's departure and arrival back for a well earned rest?

Looks like it's just the two of us so far.  Billy went out to see Santa but I think missed him while he was having a wee (Bllly, not Santa) then wanted to go out again to check he really had missed him, having been take in by the fake news of delays elsewhere on this forum.  We are just settling.

Happy Christmas - no trains today!

Thank you ... and on a positive note - no cancellations today!

I am updating one of the quizzes to make some use (!) of an absurdly large picture library from 2019.  As a taster - is this York, Darlington, Newcastle or Newark?

And where on earth is this??

Definitely not Newark. I think it's Darlington.

Modified to say that actually I don't think it is (but I won't spoil it by having another guess). Still not Newark - which is on the straight and has never had an overall roof.

Yes, it is.   I should probably not tempt you with too many more I'm working on, but specially for those who make a study of seat comfort:

Can't see there being many trains in the near platform for a while!  Those people standing there may have a long wait.
