Interrail global pass promotion - flags from {{here}}

How many of these counties have members VISITED?   How many have they TRAVELLED BY TRAIN in?

Quick add up - I think I have visited 20 and travelled by train in 12 ... wonder whether those numbers will increase in the next 12 months ...

Does an urban underground/metro count as rail travel? My scores for the train element would be considerably more if they did!

Of those shown, 12 visited.

I have travelled by train from the UK (United Kingdom) to just one of those countries - Belgium. The others were by plane. France also by ferry / coach.

Some of those countries, I know I have used mainline trains in at least 5 - Germany, Spain, Belgium, Portugal & UK. Some I have used underground & tram but can't recall mainline train travel.

I can rule out train travel in at least 2 of those countries - Turkey & Greece.

Much to my surprise I managed 7 - assuming Mallorca counts as Spain, although some were only short journeys

This is lighter side ... so it's really up to you.  But I would say it's rail travel and underground has rails ... even the Wuppertal thingy has rails as has the shuttle between terminals / satellite at Gatport.  Guided busway in Bristol I would hesitate ... rollercoasters may count ....

Only three countries and in this they only count as one - England, Scotland and Wales.

However 21,800 miles this year and enjoyed almost all of it.

OK then for me it's 17, 9 on the train (of which 3 are underground/metros) plus one also if you also include trams!

18 for me, and 12 travelled on train (excluding metros).

Being picky, if Great Britain is shown then there should also be an entry for Northern Ireland, which would make 19 but still 12.
