Fatality at Liskeard - 01 Jan 20

Awful start to the New Year

Cancellations to services between Liskeard and Bodmin Parkway

Due to a person being hit by a train between Liskeard and Bodmin Parkway all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 19:15 01/01.

Emergency services are attending this incident and working to get the lines reopened as quickly as possible.
Road transport has been requested to run between Plymouth and Truro, and vice-versa, but the first of 8 coaches requested to run between Truro and Plymouth are not expected to arrive (at Truro) prior to 18:00.

Services are at a halt west of Plymouth on the Mainline due to a person being struck by a train late this afternoon. Replacement Road transport is difficult due to First Kernow operating a much restricted service today. Ticket acceptance has been extended into tomorrow.
