Alterations to services between Romsey and Southampton Central

Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Romsey and Southampton Central the line is blocked.

Train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or diverted via Eastleigh.

Southampton Central will not be served. Disruption is expected until 11:00 15/01.

Customer Advice

Customers travelling from Southampton Central are advised to use alternative services, circulating via Eastleigh where GWR (Great Western Railway) services will call instead of Southampton Central.

Common sense with an alternative line available, all be it single track.   Look with envy from south west of Exeter!
