Just seen this on NR» (Network Rail - home page) twitter:
They are aware of a low speed impact with the buffers on Platform 5.
No reports of any injuries and there maybe some delays.

A very low speed collision (kiss is probably a better word!), and the platform had reopened less than two hours later.  But, another unit that will need checking and minor repairs!

If the two buffer stops originally lined up at platforms 5 & 6 then it looks to have been pushed about a metre forward. Did its energy adsorbing job quite well with hopefully minimum damage. These 80x units do seem to have a bad stopping vice - considering previous recent incidents of this nature.

Pushed approximately 1 foot according to the Network Rail log.  Different design of buffer stop on platform six to platform five so probably didn't line up exactly.

One wonders what is behind that nose cone and how good it is at absorbing a low speed impact without expensive and protracted repair.

That's two 80x's with broken noses.

Not a lot, really, apart from the obvious. There's "energy absorption blocks" placed and looking suspiciously like buffers, and Hitachi say this:
