A departure from the usual format; I suspect most people will recognise the location, so this is more of a 'Where's Wally?':

Standing just in front of the further bus stop. Or on top of the bus, looking for nuts and Topic bars.

Found another picture online of that bus, a Bristol KSW. From the front turning into Staple Hill Depot.

You're obviously not the guy looking thoughtful stood under the near bus shelter - as you have conveniently labelled him the car park attendant  Grin

He's very good, isn't he? Yup, that's me.

This was the 'farewell to the KSW's' tour. I may be able to find the precise date if I dig deep enough. I think YHT924 may have been out that day too. I seem to remember going round Shirehampton Green three times, and quite a struggle getting up Allison Road...

It wasn't exactly Sherlockian deduction. I've met you and you do rather tower over us mere mortals. Tongue

And I suppose I also, obliquely, got the reason for the photo. Finding another image of that KSW from 1976.

And the flares; either homonym would seem appropriate. I would have picked the right option had I got up earlier.

As an aside, my niece has a Facebook album of pictures where on looking back, she has spotted her dad hiding somewhere, almost, but not quite, out of sight. It's called "Where's the Wally".
