Its surprising how long it takes ...
So I will continue up to and include the Sunday 5th July 2020,as by this time I think we will be able to get out and about more than we have been able too recently.
From
the Seaton TramwayWe are delighted to say that Seaton Tramway will re-open on 4th July at 10am.
From yesterday
on the forumI took my first train trip since mid-March yesterday.
A huge "Thank you" to Infoman for all his hard word over recent months putting together the daily listing of programs with a rail interest during the time we have all been pretty much locked down. It has been very useful indeed to have a short summary of what to watch, and I have learned a great deal about railways as far away as New Zealand, Mexico, Criccieth and Paddington.
With things starting to open up again, now is indeed the 'right' time to drop back from this daily report and indeed I look forward to starting to travel beyond a few hundred yards fairly soon. However, we're not going to be back to "business totally as usual" for some considerable time, and I would encourage anyone who spots an interesting tranport program on the TV schedule to post on this board to help those of us just traveling a fraction of the amount we did to keep in touch with the rail world.
Big THANK YOU Infoman ...
