Best we've done on that question before ...

Can any help me out here?

Circa 2005-2008?

The ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) to Hereford from St philips Marsh approx 04:00am.

Use to call at Abergavenny, can anyone post what years the ECS called at Abergavenny to pick up.

Thank you in advance.

It is NOT shown in my printed May to December 2007 ("final printed edition") of the National Rail timetable, and there is talk if it ending December 2008 at http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=3072.msg23621#msg23621 . I do remember it - could it really have been as short-lived as 1 year?

And there were a couple of follow ups that came to no definite conclusion.  Anyone else got an answer?

Trying to plan something for Saturday and I get the following message from National Rail:
Quote
Alterations to the Great Western Railway timetable due to Coronavirus.

Train times from Saturday 1 August onwards may not be available and current timetables may be subject to last minute changes, please check back before you travel.

Do you know when and what they are going to change? Or will it be 10 minutes notice like the government?

Just rummaged through charlbury.info forum postings. It started in May 2007. Not 100% sure on the end date but December 2008 looks the most likely.
