Evening all,

Been looking at timetables to try and get some idea of changes for May. So far I have noticed the following for trains on Mondays to Fridays when comparing, on RealTimeTrains, the workings of Friday 28th May with those of Friday 07th May:

Great Western Railway (GWR (Great Western Railway)): 1915 Penzance - Exeter St. Davids, due 2246, extends to Bristol Temple Meads to arrive at 2350 thereby providing a later last service from Cornwall to Bristol. The calling points between Penzance and Exeter St. Davids will remain the same but the 12 minute stop at Plymouth is cut to only 4 minutes meaning that the train arrives into Exeter St. Davids 14 minutes earlier at 2230, leaving again at 2237. On leaving Exeter the train will call at all stations between Exeter St. Davids and Bridgwater and thereafter call at Weston-super-Mare and Yatton only, thereby missing out Highbridge & Burnham, Weston Milton, Worle, Parson Street and Bedminster.

Great Western Railway (GWR): 2200 London Paddington - Bristol TM(resolve) - Exeter St. Davids, due 0112, now departs London Paddington at 2202 and extends beyond Exeter St. Davids to Plymouth, arriving at 0210. It retains the same calling pattern as far as Exeter St. Davids but then only calls at Newton Abbot and misses out Totnes.

Great Western Railway (GWR): Trains between Barnstaple and St. James Park have slightly revised timings and will, with the exception of a couple of services that start from / terminate at Exeter St. Davids, now finish at Exeter Central rather than St. James Park.

Great Western Railway (GWR): Some trains are now showing in the 1Hxx series again which designates them as those of the semifast variety which operate non-stop Bristol Parkway to London Paddington:
- 0753 Paignton - London Paddington, due 1114
- 1308 Exeter St. Davids - London Paddington, due 1544
- 1915 London Paddington - Exeter St. Davids, due 2140

Cross Country seem not to be doing anything significant and are, it seems, not running their seasonal services to Newquay. Great Western Railway (GWR), for their part, are currently showing High Speed Train (HST (High Speed Train)) services on the Newquay line as follows:

Mondays to Fridays:
- 0910 Plymouth to Newquay, arr. 1054
- 1112 Newquay to London Paddington, arr. 1629
- 0904 London Paddington to Newquay, arr. 1421
- 1450 Newquay to London Paddington, arr. 2019

Saturdays:
- 0628 Bristol Parkway to Newquay, arr. 1039
- 1106 Newquay to London Paddington, arr. 1556
- 1135 London Paddington to Newquay, arr. 1645
- 1725 Newquay to Bristol Parkway, arr. 2204

Hope this is of interest for starters: if I find any more in the coming weeks I will add them. I realise that this is all depending on how things to health-wise but let us hope that we are finally on the way out of this mess.

Good wishes to all: stay safe.
Dave

As ever with advanced data on RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) it must be taken as a very rough guide only.

..also it's not uncommon, as seen in past years, to see "peak" summer season alterations & additions that apply during the school summer holiday, late July to early September.

Isn’t it normal for extras on Friday before bank holiday? Perhaps the 28th is not the best Friday to use
