What is the longest branch line in Cornwall?

Looking at the Adlestop map (https://www.systemed.net/carto/New_Adlestrop_Railway_Atlas.pdf ) which is geographic and clear, the longest branch that remains open is Newquay.  In the past, there may have been an argument for the Padstow LSWR (London South Western Railway)/SR(resolve) branch to be considered but I suspect that depends on whether you count it back Halwill Junction or to the Devon / Cornwall border.

I've put this here so as not to create another thread.

158959 is working St Ives today.

Delays to services between Falmouth Docks and Truro
Following overcrowding because of an event between Falmouth Docks and Truro the line is now open.
Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer Advice
Sea Shanty Festival is taking place in Falmouth this weekend and train services have been very busy. We have increased the number of trains running this evening, however please allow extra time to make your journey. Local bus ticket acceptance is in place on First Kernow Route U1/U1A.

Roads just as busy as people leave Falmouth.
Stop/go crawling.
Don't see how GWR (Great Western Railway) can increase the 'number of trains running'. Thought only two units permissible.
Maybe they've increased two car units to three or four coaches, but would Penryn loop be able to cope with longer units?

Service normally reverts to hourly in the evening.  Half hourly service being maintained until close of service.

There was a queuing system outside Truro station on Sat 24th June for the Falmouth branch, I think due to Armed Forces Day events in Falmouth.

This is part of the set plan for big events in Falmouth, Bob.  As you know, it's not far to walk from Falmouth Docks station.  Large numbers can be handled much better there.

Normally it's crew shortage, but on this summer Saturday.............

Cancellations to services between Liskeard and Looe

Due to a broken down train between Liskeard and Looe all lines are closed.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 11:00 01/07.

I travelled on the Falmouth branch yesterday to see the Tall Ships Event, both units were two cars, (unlike the 3 car units utilised last time the Tall Ships event was in Falmouth in 2014). Falmouth Town station shut, not because it's platforms are too short (normal 150s operating) but because they're too narrow for large crowds apparently, (perhaps this station should qualify for some kind of award?!).

I heard from someone who had booked tickets (Bodmin to Falmouth return) about a 90+ minute wait in the queue outside Truro station.
Not best please.
Return train to Bodmin was cancelled but showing on screens as 'delayed'.
Absence of information on the platform.
Said it was their first train trip for 15 years, and would be the last.
Another lost set of travellers.

Some people are easily put off! Driving and parking was probably a nightmare too given the crowds; would they have resolved never to drive anywhere again, or just put it down to exceptional circumstances?

Hmm.
Driving past Truro this week, I was puzzled by the elaborate barriers in place, and couldn't understand why.
Remembered later when I saw the large crowds queuing for the branch, outside with no shade or shelter.
Informative large signs advising 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes (delay).
They were unfortunately in the 90+ delay sector.
