I think Pudding Mill Lane Station is on the Docklands Light Railway, not the Underground.

All TfL» (Transport for London - about)'s stations do look very similar, until you see the colour of their roundels. But it is DLR▸ (Docklands Light Railway) - though it was the road outside it that got flooded. The tracks for DLR, GE main line, and Crossrail are all together and go over the Pudding Mill River (and the Northern Outlfall Sewer) on bridges. I don't think the water rose that far! And note that the Crossrail eastern portal is up at overbridge level - I think it's there for a reason.

It was only the open concourse area under the tracks; if you can find a picture from a different angle, the water is only a couple of inches high.
