This winter and early spring has brought some seismic personal events and long term changes for a number of people concerned with rail, user groups, campaigning, etc - some of which are in the public domain and some of which are not.

In my rail diary for the next month, updated within the last few days.
14th May - West Wilts Rail User Group (WWRUG» (West Wiltshire Rail Users Group - about)) at Melksham (link)
18th May - Melksham Transport User Group (MTUG» (Melksham Transport User Group - site)) now informal meeting (link)
(20th May - TravelWatch SouthWest (TWSW» (TravelWatch SouthWest - website)) now a Board meeting - limited attendance) (link)
(23rd May - TransWilts Stakeholders Meeting - limited attendance)
4th June - Melksham Transport User Group (MTUG) at Shaw fair

More to follow on revised plans in each case on other threads; I am locking this thread so comment in each case may be followed up elsewhere and adding other threads / stuff - editing this post as I go.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
