Following a person hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough all lines have now reopened.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 120 minutes. Disruption is expected until 22:00 04/09.

Ticket acceptance was organised for Waterloo to Reading services although these are subject to partial road replacement today.

This is clearly tempting fate, but as of 06:45 today there are no cancellations or alterations showing for West of England services today.   Indeed the only item on Journeycheck is a potential late start for a stopping service from Didcot Parkway to London Paddington.

In the circumstances, all BBQs have been cancelled out of respect.

...........more seriously though it is interesting - perhaps more than usual had opted to work today to bring the money in with the strikes having been originally scheduled for this week?
