This is particularly striking given that Pilning lies at the edge of the Severenside area, dubbed a "transport dessert" by locals.

The Severnside 30-year masterplan was released last year by South Gloucestershire council and explored ways to improve links in the area in the coming decades, including "station improvements" at Pilning laid out as an overbridge, improved waiting facilities and rail services.

With the 622 and 623 buses going "demand responsive", does that mean it will be possible to get a bus to Pilning Station to catch the train / get back from the train on a Saturday from the start of April?  See (here). I really must catch up with 0lg4.
