I was at Sandy Park watching the rugby when the Devon Air Ambulance arrived a short distance to the west of the stadium at around 1500. It departed around 30-40 minutes later in the direction of it's base at Exeter Airport so I guess wasn't required. At the end of the match, c.1615, there was a stadium PA (Public Address) announcement that the Exmouth service was suspended. My walk home takes me over the Apple Lane Path overbridge from which could be seen a group of hi-vis clad personnel on the line close to or at Newcourt station. Local reporting https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/exeter-railway-person-hit-emergency-8060558 confirms the incident but gives little information regarding the circumstances. RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) shows 2F13 arriving at EXM essentially on time at 1451 but the unit not departing until 1723 as 2E26.
