Nice to see a country taking investment in active travel seriously

The bulk of the money goes to Dublin (c. 400 projects), then other regional cities (c.250 projects) with the remainder for rural projects (c. 500 projects).

We are unlikely to see similar money in England with current financial situation, even if it is a drop in the ocean compared with HST2.

Perhaps a greater sign of seriousness than going ahead with those projects is not going ahead with road projects, as mentioned.
