We would like more services to & from Melksham.
Nice if the train went London to Westbury (stopping a Pewsey)  & then up to Chippenham, stopping at Trowbridge and Melksham. yes I know Melksham has a short platform.

You could extend the service from Swindon back to Padd stopping at Didcot Reading and Slough and then run some Bristols fast from Bath to Reading.  Possibly every 2 hours at first each way. A bit like an outer Kinston loop service. With a 180 if FGW (First Great Western) can get them back.

Having travelled on one from Gloucester to Reading and several times from London to Slough  for an underfloor DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) they aren't too bad less cramped than a Voyager.

The peak Pewsey service is probably over the top in reality. There is no need for both a 0625 and 0639 and the 1706 and 1806 from Padd in the evening are fairly pointless as they get caught up by the following faster 1733 and 1836. The off-peak service is rather sparse, however, being at roughly 3 hour intervals. I think 2-hourly would be more appropriate for the demand and one way this could be done would be to extend the Bedwyns. They could terminate at Pewsey and the unit run ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) to Woodborough for reversal.

17:06 and 18:06 are useful for those who do not want to pay the peak time fares though.

But for Pewsey only peak fares are valid on the 1706 and 1806. Strangely the 1836 was fairly recently opened up to Savers to Pewsey and beyond. Incidentally I am on the 1706 today with a ^6 advance single bought only last night!
