Cancellations to services between Plymouth and Newton Abbot
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Plymouth and Newton Abbot all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations will be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes. Disruption is expected until 09:00 15/04.
Customer Advice
Due to a fault with the signalling system, we regret to advise all lines are blocked between Plymouth and Newton Abbott. Engineers are on way to investigate.

We will provide an update as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to your journey today.
CrossCountry are conveying passengers between Plymouth and Bristol Temple Meads in both directions until further notice. Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys. Mutual ticket acceptance in agreement between Cross Country and Great Western Railway
South Western Railway are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice. Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys.

So Cross Country are able to run without signals (as a general traveller could imply?)!
The 0558 (1A71) Plymouth to Paddington left 115 minutes down at 0753

Now saying until 10am.

The first train of the day, the 0558 Plymouth to Paddington left 115 minutes late, is skipping stops and terminating at Reading.
