Thanks for raising this, Shazz!

grahame is aware of the issue, so I'll leave him to respond, if that's alright?

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Sure, i know the feeling.

In the process of building a new server and transporting it to Manchester to replace the current 1 for my business! As our 1 in maidenhead is just unuseable now.

Oh the joy.

Indeed, I am aware of some issues (and to echo Chris, thanks for raising them, Shazz!) but perhaps not all issues judging by another post on this thread, from which I'm sad to see the implication that these issues are talked about behing my back withoout being brought to my attention, which renders it pretty darned hard for me to even think about fixing them!

There are a huge number of issues involved behind the scenes here - travelling from the techincal to the commercial, via legal and security with stops at funding and time constraints.  All in the county of what-the-user-wants, in the land of should/could-he-pay.

I'm pretty sure it will be frustrating to everyone who's seen issues (and , Shazz, they manifest differently to me, so can you email (graham@wellho.net) a more detailed description) but I'm going to do no more than make a general holding reply and confirm my awareness of things that are reported to me and to let you know that they're in my sights and that I have a goal to act in a positive direction. I am not going to make any specific promise of timing, though, save that if it takes quite some time I'll come back with an update.

Not going to e-mail as too busy... but the major major problem I have coming here is the frequent faults with being unable to access.

I'm half convinced its something to do with routing issues to the host / DNS (Domain name service) issues judging by the failure messages Safari comes out with.

Not to mention the (seemingly) weekly downtime for about 20 mins a go.

I thought it was just my internet connection.
But I am having exactly these problems.

Had a problem just now - just extremely low to load. Pings timed out. Lasted about 45 seconds.

I have a reason for the request.  It's not not to save my time; emails make much more work for me too, as I have to answer individually, and can't batch up replies.

An update to let you know that I am aware of ongoing issues.  I remain open to receiving reports and comments by email though I note comments earlier in this thread concerning the time it takes to do this.

It's my natural instinct to share all the information I have as widely as possible. However, in certain cases and especially where events and happenings are ongoing, to do so would be against the ongoing interests of our investigations and could lead to further issues too.

Thanks for your patience!
