As well as the removal of some off-peak shuttles between Oxford and Didcot (as discussed elsewhere), it looks like two of the key services between Oxford and Banbury are also going next month.

A petition is here:  https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/gwr-don-t-cancel-our-train-services

The slow destruction of the railway continues...

The 17:55 stations to Banbury has to be *the* train that people who use it would prefer *not* to be removed from the timetable, yes?

Both offending trains now appear to have appeared in RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) and the journey planners.

Good news.

Well done GWR (Great Western Railway) for reversing the decision to remove the trains.  Not very well done to try and sneakily remove them in the first place.
