Customer Advice
-

Apologies to customers travelling between Cheltenham and Worcester today. Owing to a fault with the signalling system that is preventing the controlling signaller from seeing where their trains are within this section of track, the line TOWARDS Worcester from Cheltenham is blocked. This does mean the section of track to Cheltenham FROM Worcester is open however we're unable to send trains to Worcester if they're unable to come back.

-

This means GWR (Great Western Railway) currently have no rail service between Cheltenham Spa and Worcester until further notice. Services from the Bristol direction towards Worcester will terminate short at Gloucester.

-

A road transport contingency has been requested to operate between Gloucester - Cheltenham - Worcester. One of these vehicles has now been confirmed and will be at Worcester Shrub Hill for 21:45 and will work all stations to Gloucester. This will then return back to Worcester under the instruction of station staff.

-
