Due to over head wires being pulled down no
 No London bound trains leaving Reading

OLE (Overhead Line Equipment, more often "OHLE") not pulled down. Just a section tripped out. All lines reopened by 1130.

As I was caught up in this,we waited at Reading from 09:00am till 11:00am trying to get to London.
Then advised to travel on the one hour journey on one of the Elizabeth line trains

Return journey arrived approx 15:25pm
 not one train set at Paddington,decided to take another one hour long journey from padd to reading
