A couple of route/timing changes happening at the start of September in the pipeline on First services out of Bath :

D1 Bath - Warminster

The timetable will be revised on all days of operation to improve punctuality. The temporary route change in Trowbridge town centre following roadworks will not change.

New route map & timetable: Coming soon.

D1x Bath - Trowbridge

The timetable will be revised on all days of operation. Some journeys at the start and end of the day will run to and from North Bradley via White Horse Business Park, fast to Bath and not serving Trowbridge Tesco or Mortimer Street/The Ship Inn/Frome Road in Trowbridge.

New route map & timetable: Coming soon.

Also announced the changes in relation to the closure of A36 Limpley Stoke mentioned in other threads

D2x Bath - Frome

These services will be significantly altered from 12th August 2024 due to a long term closure of the A36 to stabilise the embankment at Limpley Stoke, and a low bridge preventing double deck vehicles from using the nearest alternative route.
Service D2x will now leave Bath via Bear Flat and Odd Down, and run via Dunkerton to Peasedown St. John, where it will serve the bus stops along Orchard Way. Buses will then continue to Radstock, and run via Buckland Dinham to Frome, accessing Frome Market Place via Whatcombe Road, Welshmill Lane and Welshmill Road. They will then run to/from Critchill and Sainsbury’s as normal. Buses will serve all bus stops along the route.
The D2x will no longer serve the north part of Frome, Beckington, Limpley Stoke, Bathampton or the Bath Abbey area of Bath City Centre.

No changes appear to have been mentioned by Faresaver yet.

Faresaver's Changes, Again effective 1st September :

287 – Bathwick Hill to R.Allen School is being cancelled. Firstbus 20 service will provide alternative transport options for students. The X86 service will continue to operate from Box/Batheaston/Bathford/London Road.

271/2/3 – We are enhancing the Sunday service from 2 hourly to hourly. Some minor changes are being made to weekday and Saturday timetables to reflect current traffic conditions.

33/x33 – Between 0900 – 1500 the trips from Devizes towards Chippenham have been changed. Current 33 trips will operate as X33 and vice versa. We are also introducing a Sunday X33 service which will operate every 2 hours. This new Sunday X33 service will operate into Bromham but otherwise will follow a direct route serving all stops between Devizes and Chippenham missing Derry Hill village.

3A/3C – Changes to times on Sunday.

It's good to see some investment in the increase/addition of services between Bath & Devizes and Chippenham & Devizes.

We can only hope that the X34 may follow suit with either a frequency enhancement or extension towards Frome?
