It's been 24 hours since my previous attempt so I'll have a stab at number 4 which I think is Torquay.
Edit: I've just noticed that Merthyr Imp has already suggested the same yesterday.

Sorry about that, grahame. I had discounted Newhaven as a possibility because the railway line closed in 1956: The village was once connected by the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway to Edinburgh and Leith, but the line closed in 1956. The station building and platform still exists off Trinity Crescent. Other stations also existed at the end of Annfield and on Craighall Road.

I looked at Newhaven on Google street view but the nearby flats have black window frames. The flats in Graham's picture must be the more distant ones still under construction in the 2023 dated Google street view.
