Sorry, John ... (and not Westbury either ...)

I'm actually quite surprised how stubborn this one's being!

Nope.

A bit of a clue - "once you realise where it is, you won't be surprised that the picture was taken in the dark"

It looks like it could be Worcester Shrub Hill, but this is unlikely as a FGW (First Great Western) train would not be in this position (i.e. with a LM (London Midland - recent franchise) 150 it would be more likely).

So it only gets a night/morning service. I'd say Melksham but that isn't an island  Cheesy

Newton St Cyres?

EDIT - not an island. Quite simply stumped.

Well ... expanding on my clue, the station's not had a daytime service during the week for quite a while, although things have changed now.

England, not Wales ... and it's a line that has never closed but until very recently the only Monday to Friday trains were early morning, and evening peak through to general close of service time.  And that's a situation which had existed for many years.

Added as swlines posted - sorry - not Denton either!

Severn Beach?

Yes ... it IS Severn Beach.

Very odd, John - I could have sworn I read "St Andrew's Road" when I said "closest yet" - looks like I was having a 'senior moment there!   My apologys for the initial "no".
