A bit late now, but during the rail strikes I used to have to take two buses to get to Morden for the tube. No public toilets anywhere (I remember there used to be at the Civic Centre) and it's not fun having to hold it in until you get to Central London. On those days Costa Coffee in Morden had longer queues for their toilets than their coffees.

I've since found this website but I can't vouch for the accuracy.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
