GWR (Great Western Railway) have released their Christmas restriction easements:

Fri 20: Normal restrictions apply.  No Weekend First.
Sat 21 & Sun 22: normal weekend.
Mon 23 & Tue 24: Off peak all day, Super-off peak usual restrictions apply.  Weekend First available.
Wed 25 & Thu 26: No service.
Fri 27 - Wed 01 incl: No restrictions apply.  Weekend First available.
Thu 02 & Fri 03: Off peak all day, Super-off peak usual restrictions apply.  No Weekend First.
Sat 04 & Sun 05: normal weekend.
Mon 06 onwards: Normal restrictions recommence.

Only applies to GWR priced tickets; other operators may have other easements.

I wouldn't expect Weekend First on a Friday except for bank holidays Huh

Correction:  Weekend First WILL be available Fri 27 - Wed 01 inclusive.
