From the FGW (First Great Western) website :

05:10 Abergavenny to London Paddington due 08:51

This train will be started from Reading. It will no longer call at: Abergavenny, Hereford, Ledbury, Colwall, Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-In-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford. This is due to a train fault.

06:52 Worcester Foregate Street to Oxford due 08:12

This train has been revised. It will additionally call at: Honeybourne.

Just as well I decided not to catch it and drove to Cheltenham instead - I thought about it but reckoned I'd be late. Good call.

Nice one. It may have started from Reading, but it's still counted as being a journey that ran.

The fact that it didn't pick up any passengers from Abergavenny, Hereford, Ledbury, Colwall, Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-In-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford counts for nothing in the Alice-in-Wonderland world of railway statistics.
