It can't be a coincidence that there is a FirstBUS online meet the manager running at exactly the same date and the same time. Hosted by James Freeman newly appointed MD of First BSA. Comes to us from Reading buses, where his stellar reputation precedes him. I fear that having inherited the poisoned chalice , his lustre is coming off in large lumps, Also up for interrogation, is Natacha Tagholm Regional Director for Firstbus in S Wales and the West Country. In a local face to face M the M session held in Portishead last year, she told me that the centralisation of First Customer Services in Southampton was her idea.....

Saw a poster at Westbury advertising a 'Meet the Manager' session at Bath Spa tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd April 2015,  between 1600 - 1800. Poster mentions that it is an opportunity to find out more about the forthcoming electrification work in the Bath area.

Not advertised on FGW (First Great Western)'s website I notice and I think finishing at 1800 is not ideal as many commuters will miss the opportunity.

How about putting them in stocks and letting customers chuck wet sponges at them in return for a donation to charity? They'd make a fortune based on the current levels of service!!!  Cheesy

I thought I'd look up the next Meet The Manager session on the GWR (Great Western Railway)/FGW (First Great Western) website and have drawn a blank.  Has this method of feedback been canned?  I recall an earlier comment on here that it was a condition of the franchise to hold a certain number per year.

New franchise has resulted in new departments. Once the reorganisation has beeded in, the stations team will be working on new dates.

When I was travelling through Marylebone this week I saw a notice board which had on it some of the Q&As which had been asked at one of their meet the manager sessions. Do FGW (First Great Western) (Sorry GWR (Great Western Railway)) do anything like that?

Our "Meet the Manager" board?  Grin  ... and in all seriousness we should look at another session?

Yes, G, we were fortunate with that one (and yes, I think another would be a good idea) but as you probably guessed I was talking about the "in station" ones..
