Define "best"?

Do you mean in terms of facilities, services, location, information, view from the platform, best car park, best paint job, what?

There are quite a few unstaffed stations missing from that list ... or were the options you've given to us to vote for selected by some other criteria as well as just being "unstaffed"?  It's a long time (a very long time since I went by rail beyond Plymouth, but I know that the station I would go for ain't listed  Undecided

P.S.  If you add the other stations in, for statistical accuracy you'll need to reset the poll counters too.

I'd agree with that S&T (Signalling and Telegraph).

Beautiful rural quiet setting with no pesky light/noise pollution.

As far as I'm concerned any unstaffed station is dead. So by definition they are all bad.

Quite like Carbis Bay, nice view. Then again it's probably the only unstaffed station in Cornwall i've been too exept Lelant Saltings.

Devon prize has to go to Newton St Cyres Wink

Lets clear something up vote on the best unstaffed station from that list! I know there not all of the unstaffed stations in Cornwall. Based on all things you can think of!

Hmm.  I have to say, Branch Line Connor, that "based on all things I can think of", I still cannot vote for any one of those stations in your poll.

They all have merits - but they also have problems - some of which may well be the result of them being unstaffed stations.

If I were to be asked to nominate my own favourite unstaffed station in Cornwall, based entirely on my personal opinion, it would be Penmere.

However, I'm not sure how that fits in with the purpose of your survey.  Wink

Dont know why Quintrell Downs deserves a vote, best one on the newquay line in my opinion is Roche.

Out of the ones listed, all of them have their bad points for various reasons.

My vote would be for Coombe Junction despite the fact that half of it has dissapeared!  Grin
