Hi

On Sunday 5th September 2010 the Torquay Vintage Bus Running Day takes place. The venue is Shedden Hill Car Park (10 mins walk from Rail Station, opposite sea front) with static displays as well as FREE bus rides from the sea front.

There are bus services to Occombe Farm, Hesketh Crescent (for Meadfoot Beach) and even a service to Paignton and much more.

For more info visit www.torbayvbrd.co.uk.

Thanks

James158, chris from nailsea has asked you already not to post duplicate threads anywhere on the forum, and it looks like I need to reiterate this to you as you have posted this thread both in the Diary section and on the "shorter journeys in Devon" board. Given that the post itself does not have much relevance to rail travel in Devon, I have deleted the thread you posted on that board.

Thanks for bringing the event to the attention of the coffeeshop members: I have added it to the events calendar (see bottom of the FGW (First Great Western) coffeeshop "home page" if you want to add similar events yourself). Feel free to post about upcoming events such as this in the FGW area in future. Please though, only post one thread in the appropriate place, i.e. here on the diary board.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
