Thanks for the link, Lee.

Massive pinches of salt should be taken with any one-off set of figures such as these, but it will open the eyes of many people (and quite possibly the media) of the fact that 7 out of 10 of these trains are operated by First Great Western!  I also repeat a fact that I've made on here before that with the suburban services the highest level of overcrowding is in the section between Southall and Ealing Broadway and not when they arrive/depart Paddington.

Good to see the word 'overcrowding' returning as it seemed a bit non p/c for a while with every statement just referring to 'crowding'.

Having just travelled home where I was only able to stand on one leg (no really) and had to keep my arms folded round the book I'd quite like to have read. And not move an inch because I couldn't.. Oh yes I would believe it.. Wink
