On uk.railway there's a slightly different 'Street View Challenge' - find a picture with a train it.

This was what started it:

If you look at Barnstaple station http://tiny.cc/barnstaplestation, the Google Camera Car has arrived at the same time as a train, and you can take a trip round the car park, too Smiley

There are several views taken from Backwell Lake, including one of a Virgin Voyager. I'm not sure how to link to it though. I'm not sure it was taken by the camera car though - they seem too good.

With thanks to one of my fellow-moderators on this forum, I can offer this view of a full moon, taken from Nailsea.  However: absolutely no train involvement whatever.

William Huskisson MP was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Here's one from outside the area but thought I'd share since it looks like they caught the train just as it reached the level crossing. If you move along the road forwards forwards and backwards you can see the train gradually pass the crossing  Tongue Simple things really do please simple minds
