From the FGW (First Great Western) website at noon today (20/10/2007):-


11:05 London Paddington to Plymouth due 14:35
This train has run empty.

Regret no catering after Exeter St David.


So what I saw earlier wasn't an illusion after all, are FGW really running empty trains.

There was another one I was just about to copy it over and it dissapeared but it was a service from London-Worcester and said this train is being run empty. No catering facilities after Oxford.

Would appear the 1105 ran as normal, but 0852 to London ran empty, mad!
