POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING THEFT OF LUGGAGE FROM WORCESTER-BRISTOL TRAIN
British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating the theft of a suitcase from on board a train between Worcester and Bristol are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they want to speak to.
Officers have today released a CCTV▸ image of a man they believe will have information which can assist their investigation into the theft which took place on Monday 31 January 2011.
PC Carol Dade, investigating officer, said: ^The victim boarded the 1452hrs Worcester Foregate Street to Bristol Temple Meads service. She placed her large purple suitcase in the luggage rack but discovered it was missing when she went to leave the train at Bristol Temple Meads.
^Officers have now viewed CCTV images from the train and would like to speak to the man photographed here as we believe he will be able to help us with our enquiries. I would ask anyone who knows the man^s identity, or his current whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police.^
