From the British Transport Police press release:

DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN? POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER DAMAGE CAUSED AT RAIL STATION ^ TRURO

British Transport Police (BTP (British Transport Police)) officers have released a CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele Vision) image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an act of vandalism at Truro railway station.

PC Wayne Frost, of BTP, said the man in this CCTV image is likely to have information which can assist the police investigation into the incident which happened at some point between 11.15pm on Saturday 8 October 2011 and 8.45am the following morning.

^At some stage between the above hours, two windows at a building within the station were smashed causing several hundred pounds worth of damage,^ PC Frost said. ^Our enquiries are ongoing but I would like to speak to the man in this photograph as I believe he will have information which can assist. If you know who he is, or where he currently is, then I would be grateful if you could contact BTP as soon as possible.^

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident reference B10/WWA of 02/11/2011. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
