these are the only 2 problems i could find, so assuming it was the broken down train one,

a friend who i was due to meet off a train today at penzance, text me to say that the train had been stuck in Camborne for almost an hour about 1400 this afternoon, no problems were showing then, but these are showing now. the live feed on here is showing the 1449 pz- plymouth as cancelled due to an earlier broken down train, assuming it was this train that broke down on way down to penzance,

these are the only 2 problems on fgw website, ,

18:03 has had problems of its own. On time at Reading but 15 late by Taunton and 28 down at Newton Abbot.

1239 Ply - Pnz broke down at Camborne. Eventually moved about 15.20, about an hour late but empty, 1006 from London stuck behind.

Think the 18:03 is making extra calls because the 10:59 Glasgow to Penzance wasn't going further than Plymouth.
