The reason I point this out is because a similar event two years ago caused Top Gear's broadcast to be delayed. That despite this event being broadcast on BBC1 through most of the afternoon and early evening. The BBC decided to move the over-running event to BBC2 rather than delay the Antiques Roadshow.
